Choices, Congruency and the Organizational Contract
Have you ever wondered what went wrong during a particular commission or project?
Perhaps things went really smoothly but you don't know why. It is always good to know the elements that went into making a piece of work successful or less so. Very often the issue lies with the contracting and
its specificity. Il is surprising how little time is actually spent considering the detail of the contract and yet, without this detail, whole ventures can flounder.
Goal congruity is important for all those involved in making the contract. If any one party is unclear, or if
this aspect has not been explored, difficulties are likely to ensue.
In this workshop, we will explore ideas about fundamental, primary and secondary choices and the link
with contracting in TA. A a way to develop understanding we will take time to consider the choices we
each make as consultants, trainers, leaders and link this back to congruency at both the individual and organizational levels.
